Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation

A meeting took place in Ashgabat between Ahmet Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Saudi relations, as well as pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to further strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The parties also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations, emphasizing the importance of constructive collaboration in multilateral forums. Current issues on the international and regional agenda were also discussed. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their mutual readiness to continue regular contacts and joint efforts to further strengthen friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
